The GINZA SIX shopping complex opened in the central Tokyo district of Ginza on April 20th, attracting big crowds to the 13 story building in the heart of the high-end shopping area. Replacing the Matsuzakaya Department store that stood on the location until 2013, GINZA SIX follows big redevelopment projects such as GINZA TOKYU PLAZA and GINZA PLACE that have opened nearby in the past year.
A roof top garden, open to the public from 7am-11pm has views of the Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower as well as the busy Ginza Avenue immediately below.
